The website locker17.com was named a finalist in the Writer's Digest Best Website contest. It is mentioned on page 57 of the October 2007 issue (which actually came out in August). As far as I can tell it was the only website featuring an unpublished manuscript in the finals. Maybe if the book had been published I would have won the grand prize (or not).

So now I am an award winning author who has been mentioned in what is arguably the biggest and best known American writers' magazine.
